Optocore has announced that Tine Helmle has taken on the role of Managing Director, leading the company into its next stage of development with a focus on continuity, stability and future growth. Her appointment marks an important moment for Optocore, a company recognised worldwide for its fibre-based network solutions for professional audio, broadcast, intercom, video and AV applications. For more than three decades, Optocore systems have been trusted in touring, theatres, broadcast facilities, stadiums, houses of worship, universities and permanent installations where reliability and system security are essential.
Helmle takes on the role with a strong understanding of the company, its customers and the responsibility that comes with guiding a brand that has helped shape the industry. Optocore GmbH was founded by Marc Brunke, Tine Helmle and Rüdiger Bormann, whose technical vision and pioneering work playing a major role in defining what professional fibre networks could become. Bormann, who has been senior hardware developer at Optocore since 2004, will now step into the position of Head of R&D with immediate effect, further strengthening the company’s technical leadership.
“Optocore is a company with a very clear identity,” says Helmle. “It stands for reliability, trust, precision and long-term thinking. These values are deeply connected to the people behind the company and to the customers who rely on our systems every day.”
For Helmle, the immediate priority is to maintain the confidence of customers, distributors and partners while continuing to move the company forward. She is clear that Optocore’s next chapter will not be about sudden changes, but about careful development based on the strengths that have made the company successful. The relationship between Optocore and BroaMan will also continue to be important, with the two brands offering solutions for audio, video, data and intercom transport over fibre for increasingly complex systems in broadcast, live event and installation environments.
Under Helmle’s leadership, Optocore will continue to focus on practical innovation, long-term reliability and close cooperation with its international network of partners. As professional systems become more complex and the demand for secure, redundant infrastructure continues to grow, the company intends to build on its heritage while preparing for the changing needs of the global audio, AV and broadcast markets.
With Tine Helmle as Managing Director, Optocore enters its next chapter with a clear sense of continuity and purpose. The company will continue to build on its heritage while preparing for the changing needs of professional audio, AV and broadcast markets worldwide.
